Using Paver Path Design

Paths not only look good they also serve a very real purpose. They make it easy for someone to travel from one point to another. While someone could travel without a path, it would be a lot easier if they would be walking over one. It could keep them safe from slipping caused by walking over puddles, and it could keep their shoes and feet dry. It can also make a garden or a yard a lot more interesting by keeping the different parts interconnected and at one with each other.

Here are a few smell steps that you can follow in designing and creating a paver path design for your home garden:

1.Start out by laying the place where the path would be. Don’t be too predictable when doing this. Try adding some twists to that path that you will be making. If everything goes straight and in the way that people would like to naturally follow then your path will stay just like that, just a simple path and nothing more. You need to think up of something that would make it a little more interesting and complicated.

2. Make the main paths wide enough so that two people can walks side by side.

3. In choosing the paving material that you will be using, make sure that you pick something that will be appropriate for how you intend to use it. If the path will see a lot of use, you need to choose a material that will not be slippery, and will stay set. Concrete pavers, and cut stones are the best materials for this and they would add the most decorative function to your path as well.

4. Make sure that your path will not become water logged. In order to ensure this you have to design ihe path with a slight inclination away from the house. This will help ensure that water from rain will not settle in the path which can ruin the while thing for you. Make sure that there are enough provisions for draining off the water there.

5 Give the pavers that you will be using a gravel base that is deep enough to make sure that they will stay fixed even after years of continuos use. Add a thin layer of sand to the gravel base to ensure that you can put the paver in place.

6. Using edgings to keep pavers in place should work well.

7. Use planta to mark off the path from the rest of the garden. You can add grass around the pavers to add a little natural touch to the whole thing.

These are just a simple steps that you can follow in making your path. Remember the key to all of this is to make your path interesting and unique. You would want to make sure that they people who will be using it will remember your path and would want to go pass through it, just for the sake of having the pleasure of doing so once again.
